India’s pink city Jaipur hosts the vintage car rally show in the month of January. The 18th annual Vintage and Classic car rally is to be held on 23rd ( Exhibition) and 24th ( Drive) of January 2016 after that It will be Organize in delhi on 5th & 6th Feb 2016. Every year in February, the Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club in association with the Department of Tourism holds a vintage & classic car rally in Jaipur.

Rajputana Automotive Sports Car club, Department of Rajasthan Tourism and Audi had hosted the Vintage car rally which was started some 17 odd years back by the Rajputana Automotive Sports Club. Back then, the club had just 14 vintage cars and today the number has increased to 114 and the highlight of the even indeed was Ravi Shashtri’s Audi 100. The car indeed is a symbol of vintage cars and their association with Audi.

A host of pre and post-war cars were seen in all their regal beauty on the first day of the rally. The participating cars were exhibited at Hotel Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur. Attracting its fair share of attention was the Audi 100 which was gifted to the cricket legend Mr. Ravi Shastri for his brilliant performance in the World Series Cricket in 1985.

On the second day of the rally, the cars were flagged off from Hotel Jai Mahal Palace Lawns. The historical cars drove through the historical places of Jaipur leaving behind a trail of nostalgia. Spectators witnessed a fusion of past and present which left them wanting for more. Some of these cars have featured in movies like Gandhi, Queenie, Zubeida, Bhool Bhulaiya, Veer and Sher which is under production.

which include cars like the Humber of 1903, the Fiat 501 of the year 1923, the Mercedes Benz 170V of 1936, the Morris 8 of 1938, the 1923 Austin and the Erskine of 1923. It’s an entertaining show for car lovers.
